I kept being surprised by how each new track drew me in as its own mesmerizing view into a diff facet of Illusionment's world.

A lot of this feels like old school grime devils mix tracks w/ Actress + Black metal lofi production aesthetics.

Ropp An excellent album whose execution and technique is fascinating by itself. Furthermore, the resulting tracks have an analogue, dreamy, nostalgic and beautiful sound, making of this album a great and engaging collection. Favorite track: Limbus Patrum 04.

Xeredek Limbus Patrum at first glance is album that aims to choke you in relentless darkness for a solid 36 minutes, but this initial impression couldn't be farther from the truth. Illusionment has used the oppressive dark sound to give an otherworldly yet familiar feel to an album that has a very strong focus on interesting repeating melodies and flow. Not at all pure darkness, but rather pure whimsy and adventure- painted black. Favorite track: Limbus Patrum 05.
